Good systems are built by people who run them
Tanzim is built by operators, designers and engineers who have worked inside mobility. We build for transport authorities and the operators they license, and we are judged on whether the service holds up on an ordinary Tuesday morning.
Our Mission
To make regulation something a city can do live, rather than review afterwards.
The platform has to keep earning its place as fleets grow, rules change and the service expands. Not only at the point of award.
How we work
Five things we hold to
These are the ones that come up in practice, usually when a decision would be easier to make the other way.
- 01The authority decidesWe build the controls. The authority sets them. It is not our place to decide what a city's transport policy should be, and a platform that quietly makes those decisions for you is the wrong platform.
- 02We work alongside, not overOperators and drivers use this every working day. If it makes their job harder they will route around it, whatever the contract says, and the authority ends up regulating a system nobody uses.
- 03Connect, do not replaceCities already run payment systems, licensing databases, ticketing and fitted hardware. We connect to what is there. Rip-and-replace programmes are how mobility projects end up three years late.
- 04The boring parts matterReceipts, expiry dates, shift handovers, what happens when the signal drops. The unglamorous detail is where a transport programme is actually won or lost.
- 05Straight answersWe will tell you what the platform does not do before you find it out mid-tender. That is a slower sales conversation and a much shorter list of surprises later.
